This reminds me, I got admitted into the school of pharmacy, in the doctorate program (Pharm.D.) and one of the first things someone said to me before I started all the procedures for the application was: "you'll forget about being Adventist when you realize you need the time to study for all those tests" I just smiled and told her that I would prove to her that with God anything is possible. God opened doors for me.
and I'm doing fine in the program! ^^
You don't have to abandon your faith to fit in.
If the door is to small for your faith, that is definitely the wrong path.

Our faith may not be properly formed, however (I deal with this sometimes personally; as something of a "Catholic Pharisee" of a sort, as well as a "moral perfectionist": nothing's ever really good enough, maybe that's why I have some of the problems I do. I have to believe that God doesn't want me to be a nervous wreck but an effective employee.). Please, do me a huge favor and Don't ever remove your stamps- they will be most effective for me to improve myself.
